  • I bought it because I was tired of the small cheap flashlights that last only a few hours with full batteries and start flickering halfway through their runtime.
It has incredible build quality. For a $36 flashlight that takes two alkaline AA batteries, it has both fantastic power and autonomy. Waterproof up to 2 meters of water, which means that whatever rain it gets hit with, it will be as if it isn’t raining at all. It is not the most powerful; it is simply more than sufficiently powerful for the majority of activities for which someone would buy a flashlight that accepts alkaline batteries.
So far I have only used rechargeable NiMH batteries. Although these are lower-voltage and lower-capacity batteries, it has never turned off on me. Every now and then, when I remember, I take them out and put in other fully charged ones. It is just right for a flashlight for everyday use, to see something comfortably at 100 meters (maybe more, but it is not designed for that), one that you can also forget in a backpack or in the car, and then make it work with whatever batteries the nearest kiosk has.
As for rechargeable batteries, for obvious reasons its use is practically free.
This is a very high-quality product with excellent build quality (it has not fallen from my hands (it comes with a strap) and I do not intend to drop it either; nevertheless it is a sturdy build and the manufacturer says it can withstand drops from 2 meters from any side) and a very good value-for-money ratio.
If someone needs to be able to clearly see something at 150+ meters while also illuminating the surrounding area, this is not for them. Check YouTube reviews for its capabilities.

Very good, 300+ lumens, perfect for EDC use or for emergencies, camping, etc. It is very convenient because it takes two simple AA batteries (which you can find everywhere) with good autonomy. I have it as a backup in my backpack. Very high quality! (Its range is not its strong point, but that is relative)
