Thanks to the added blue light filter, they provide eyes with protection from artificial blue light emitted by artificial sources. They absorb 16% of the total blue light with a wavelength of 380 - 500 nm. They include an integrated UV filter that protects the eyes from harmful UVA and UVB rays. Please note that a contact lens covers only a small part of the eye.
