The series offers 9 filters, from two stops to 10 stops light reduction. The ACCU-ND metallic coating on PROND filters prevents color shift when changing from one density to another, a common issue in other neutral density filter series. Now you can set your white balance once and have the same color balance, even if you need to change filters due to lighting changes, or for creative action.
The PROND filters exclusively use Hoya optical glass with a metallic ACCU-ND coating to create the neutral density effect.
Neutral filters are designed to reduce the amount of light entering your camera lens and should have no other effect on the image. Reducing the amount of light allows the use of larger apertures or slower shutter speeds for creative and dramatic effects in bright lighting conditions.
The PROND64 provides 6 stops light reduction equivalent to 1.8 optical density ND.
