This collective volume is the first scientific work on LGBTQI+ identities and mental health in Greece. It is aimed at students of Greek universities, in the departments of Psychology and Social Work, who are taking the corresponding course in their undergraduate program, as well as professionals in psychosocial support (psychologists, social workers, psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, psychiatrists, counselors, etc.) who feel the need to educate themselves on issues of sexual orientation, identity, expression, and gender characteristics in order to provide inclusive, contemporary, and safe services.
The volume offers a comprehensive introduction to all modern scientific data on LGBTQI+ identities and psychology, and its authors are specialized scientists from different therapeutic and clinical approaches, with rich clinical, community, and academic experience on related issues in Greece and abroad.
