My dog (cane corso), due to arthritis, has stopped running for the past 2 years, resulting in his nails not wearing down from his weight. From the beginning, he had very aggressive behavior when we tried to cut his nails with the vet, so we were forced to sedate him every time. Since, of course, this was not a solution, I took a risk and bought this grinder.
It was a lifesaver! With gradual familiarization with the grinder and its sound, and of course lots of treats, Mortis now lets me file each nail with the large setting without any fuss.
It is definitely a time-consuming process and requires small breaks, especially in cases of dogs with large, hard, black nails like mine, but the result is rewarding!

Amazing product, files my dog's nails very quickly and painlessly. The only "downside" is that it requires 4 AA batteries that run out relatively quickly because the device is quite powerful. Prefer rechargeable batteries.
