Without having knowledge of other strings. The violin arrived, with these on, I will say that the sound is relatively flat, without resonance and somewhat bassy. They seem to hold up, I had them for 3 months, playing 1 hour every day, I changed them out of curiosity. For a beginner like me and for their price, I think they are fine. I just bought the Pirastro Chromcor now, I think they are somewhat better with a stronger sound and more depth, but not a huge difference, but I will come back once I'm sure because I'm still learning and it's the first day I put them on.
