I use it for video editing (premiere, resolve) and photoshop.
I don't experience any crashes, but the video editing speed in premiere could be faster (I have the samsung 970 evo plus installed for applications and operating system).
If you want this processor for gaming, go for it. If you need fast video editing, get an i9 or ryzen 7.
I have no temperature issues with the arctic freezer 34 esports duo.

In combination with an Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and 16GB of RAM, I am very satisfied with the purchase of the processor. Everything works on ultra settings with high FPS, without any lag or significant increase in temperature. There is no issue with opening multiple applications at once, and I haven't encountered any problems with Photoshop and FL Studio.

For its price, it is an excellent processor. After a decade with AMD, I needed a second PC. Now, the prices for Ryzen have skyrocketed. So, after the i3 10100f (equally excellent), I switched to the Intel i5-10400 and the only thing I changed was the cooler with the Deepcool Gammaxx GTE V2. I use it mainly for video editing. After a month, it is literally what we call value for money, and combined with the integrated graphics card, it's unbeatable. It has handled everything I've thrown at it flawlessly. No temperature issues or crashes. I have paired it with the MSI Z490-A PRO and HyperX Predator 16GB DDR4 3200 MHz, plus an NVMe, and it works like a charm.

Very good! I mainly use it for video editing and it is much faster than my old Quad Q9550. Its big advantage, however, is that it is very cool. I completely disconnected the case fan and it cools only with the cooler fan (Be Quiet Pure Rock 2). Nevertheless, I never saw it go above 57 degrees, even though I opened - for testing - my most demanding applications and multiple windows simultaneously. In normal use, the machine operates at 30 to 35 degrees (I'm talking about winter in a relatively cold room) with the cooler fan running at 600 to 700 RPM! If I knew it was so cool, I would have paid an extra hundred and gotten a fanless power supply and a large passive air cooler to make a completely silent PC. I think it's possible with this processor. For someone who doesn't play games, I think it is more than enough and has many advantages. ...*I didn't use the included cooler, so I have no opinion on it.

For the time I bought it, it was very good value for money at 145 euros. At this moment, 16/2/2022, it is not worth buying because the powerful 12400f costs only 175 euros and the 12400 with integrated graphics costs 200 euros. If its price drops below 100 euros, where it should really be at this moment due to the two newer generations released by Intel, then I highly recommend it for a budget system.

It was purchased for 160 euros. Very satisfied with the processor. It is perfect for light gaming. Only the integrated graphics have an issue.

I have this processor here for a week now and I bought it with a prebuilt pc without a graphics card because the prices of the cards are now very high. I play games like lol, csgo, valorant, paladins, gta v with over 40-60 fps. Its integrated graphics are not perfect but they are nice. However, with a graphics card, it will satisfy you and you will understand it

In the money it was purchased, 152 euros, it is more than value for money. It is a beast in performance and very cool. In stress tests, no core went above 58 degrees. In idle, the Arctic Cooler 34 Duo runs at 250 RPM!!!! Its graphics are okay, for example, in League of Legends on medium settings, it averages 110 fps. So, since it is not the time to buy a graphics card, you can easily wait for prices to drop by using the onboard graphics. Its boost reaches 4.2GHz. Power consumption is minimal. The package includes the classic Intel cooler, which in my opinion, you can simply throw away and not bother with it.

The best i5 processor so far is better than the i5 10600k, which is unlocked. I had webex open, played Fortnite, talked on Discord, had YouTube open, and the fps was 200 with an rx 570. It's truly a beast

Very good value for money CPU. Coming from a first-generation i3, the difference is huge. I use it for coding/streaming/browsing/writing. It runs the same programs in less than half the time, and the graphics are more than enough for basic use. With a good cooler/case, the idle temperature is around 30 degrees, and during a 5-hour stress test, it reaches around 68 degrees. I believe it is the best choice at 160 if someone doesn't plan on buying a GPU immediately or in general. It works perfectly fine with overclocked 3200Mhz RAM.

It was purchased for 160 euros for my little brother's PC... Let me start with the positives. First of all, it can handle any game you throw at it. Personally, I ran GTA, Fortnite, CS GO, Minecraft, and I can say that it runs them perfectly fine, except for more demanding games like GTA, where it reaches temperatures up to 65 degrees with the stock cooler and thermal paste, of course. It's not something forbidden, but if you don't want to hear the noise of the cooler fan, it would be good to get an air cooler, which will do its job very well, or if you don't mind spending around 50 euros, you can get a liquid cooler. Other than that, it's a very good choice, worth its money and more

He does his job quite well with normal temperatures and low energy consumption, which is quite important nowadays. Hyperthreading returns after many years and I consider it a value-for-money choice for an Intel platform in terms of performance, as well as reliability and longevity. Ideally, combine it with 16GB of RAM at 2666MHz or higher, if supported by your motherboard.
