As an open-type battery, it requires periodic inspection and/or maintenance. Every two months, the fluid level should be checked, and it should not fall below the minimum indicator. Refilling should be done exclusively with deionized water and not with electrolyte. During extended periods of inactivity, regular charging will help improve its lifespan.
The battery is not activated from the factory. The packaging includes the electrolyte in a container for initial filling, and the activation process is carried out upon receipt.
