I have plantar fasciitis, no meniscus, and no cruciate ligaments in one knee. The other knee has undergone double surgery. I am overweight and work 12 hours a day, carrying weights while standing. For the first time in my life, I wore these shoes and they relieved me so much!!! I am worried that I won't find something similar once these wear out. (I chose this specific model after extensive research on which shoe is best for my plantar fasciitis problem. All international websites have it listed as the best shoe for plantar fasciitis.)

After 10 days of use and without reason, the plastic tongue at the front of the nose came off; for this price, it is unjustifiable...

There is no ventilation at all for the foot, so when the sun hits you, you suffer! I imagine they will be OK for winter. The very thick sole does not particularly help with walking; you have to change your way and style of walking to feel comfortable.

Because of their non-slip sole, they are excellent for working in the kitchen, and due to the height of the shoe, they are very helpful for the feet and waist during standing. They are worth their money. For now, I am wearing them constantly and they don't seem to wear out; truly a very good choice for long hours of standing and fatigue. I don't know how ideal they are for running...

With the intention to protect the next buyer, I am writing this review quite some time after my purchase.
The reason is that they are extremely overrated, unreasonably expensive (as it turns out), and not even worth the 190 euros I paid for them.
They were bought due to hip arthritis by an overweight person after several analyses through Claude, Perplexity, ChatGTP... However, nothing compares to actually wearing them. First of all, I wear size 44 and bought size 46 after initially trying them on at Golden Hall. Then, except for the anti-slip properties, they are not even absorbent but rather quite heavy and tiring, so they do not help with walking or standing. That's all.

Perfect for winter, warm and waterproof. Excellent shock absorption. The only problem is that due to the very high sole, you need to be very careful not to slip or lose your balance if the bulky soles get caught somewhere.
They are unsuitable for hiking/trekking for the same reason, as if you lose your balance you might be thrown and put yourself at risk (this happened to me in a bushy area with a slight slope, above a rocky beach). An additional disadvantage is that the sole, due to its shape, retains mud and dirties the floors with pieces of dry soil. At first, they seemed a bit narrower than the regular Bondi 9, but they quickly loosened up. I always buy Hoka two sizes larger (46 with a normal size of 44).

I bought them in October 2024, I work at the ambulance service and so far they have kept me looking good.
The basics I was looking for are there:
They don't slip on the road.
They don't slip on tiles and floors of apartment buildings.
They haven't gotten wet, but I don't know if they are truly waterproof.
For my 8-hour work shift and my standing, they fit anatomically.
I noticed that they absorb shocks as I get in and out of the truck; we have those.
I would buy them again with my eyes closed.
However, I haven't completed a year since the purchase, so I will remain cautious and if needed, I will update my review!!

No resemblance to the usual Hoka, heavier with a tight fit and thickly made. I wear size 41 and it didn't fit me at all, so you should know that at least one size larger is needed. Its sizing is very short, I got size 42 and I think I'm wearing a size 38...
Good for walking but it's still early to judge. Compared to other Hoka shoes, they are very expensive.

Having purchased a pair of sports shoes for everyday use from the same company, I decided to try a similar pair for work (replacing an old pair of Reebok shoes with slip & oil resistant soles). The difference is night and day. In terms of slip resistance, both brands are good, but in terms of comfort, HOKA shoes are truly on another level. You feel like you're walking on clouds, and after several hours on your feet, their soles really prove their worth. They are clearly more expensive than other comparable brands, but I believe that in terms of quality and comfort, they are worth their price.

    • They don't hit the foot
  • Okay guys, the shoes are the best for the kitchen. No need for many words. Excellent fit, I wear size 45 and the 45 fits me perfectly

  • There is no ventilation at all for the foot, so when the sun hits you, you suffer! I imagine they will be OK for winter. The very thick sole does not particularly help with walking; you have to change your way and style of walking to feel comfortable.

  • Because of their non-slip sole, they are excellent for working in the kitchen, and due to the height of the shoe, they are very helpful for the feet and waist during standing. They are worth their money. For now, I am wearing them constantly and they don't seem to wear out; truly a very good choice for long hours of standing and fatigue. I don't know how ideal they are for running...

  • Terrible, it's the second day I'm wearing them at work and my soles hurt. They're not even worth 40 euros

  • With the intention to protect the next buyer, I am writing this review quite some time after my purchase.
That's all.
