I replaced the expansion tank on the pressure washer, it does its job well. I preferred it because it also has the built-in barometer. Generally, I didn't need any other materials; it fit right on the motor and the bubble volume went away, and the whole system is now more compact. As for durability, time will tell. Anyway, the expansion tank needed to be changed for me every two to three years, which is about 30 euros each time, due to water quality.
