The Rotring 600, just like the 800 (which is essentially the same pencil with a retractable tip mechanism), is one of the three best mechanical pencils ever designed. It has the right weight for its category, good balance, a reliable tip advancement mechanism, satisfactory durability even with a soft tip, and ultimately, it's beautiful. In the category of metal mechanical pencils, it is the best option available on the market.
Let me try to find something negative so that people don't think I'm biased towards Rotring (as if I were that lucky).
Its only issue, which led to the creation of the 800, is that the exposed final metal part that holds the tip can bend if the pencil falls or gets hit. But why would anyone treat such a beautiful pencil like that? (and I answer myself:) For no reason.
I have a black one, I don't even remember how many years I've had it. Okay, the coating has worn off a little, but you can only see it if you bring it close to your tip and - dare I say it - it gives it a slightly more vintage/used look. So I assume the same will happen with this gorgeous blue one or any other colored one. Is that a big deal? Not at all.
Lastly, okay, this thing with erasers on mechanical pencils is like the saucer for coffee, you need them and you don't. In reality, they are just a soft intermediary between the tip container and the cap. In the old days, for hard-core linear work, we would remove the erasers from mechanical pencils and use cylinders made of serious erasers like Lauffer, T20, etc. Even then, they were rarely used. If you want to erase something, you have a serious eraser on the side, these erasers are for the times when you have it in your jacket and you really want to erase something on the sketch you made on the coaster.
But on the other hand, its lines break. It has control over line thickness with a 2H, 3H for precise lines, and a HB, 2B for freehand drawing (just need to sharpen it a bit like a "fish").
All in all, what I said before: one of the best mechanical pencils of all time.

Υποθέτω λοιπόν ότι το ίδιο θα συμβεί και σε αυτό εδώ το πανέμορφο μπλε ή σε όποιο άλλο χρωματιστό. Μικρό το κακό; Ποιο κακό;
Τέλος, εντάξει, αυτή η φάση με τις γόμες στα μηχανικά μολύβια είναι σαν το πιατάκι του καφέ, τις χρειάζεσαι και δεν τις χρειάζεσαι. Στη πραγματικότητα είναι απλά ένας μαλακός μεσάζον μεταξύ του δοχείου των μυτώνε και του καπακιού. Τα αρχαία χρόνια οι χαρντ-κορ του γραμμικού, αφαιρούσαμε τις γόμες των μηχανικών και κόβαμε-βάζαμε κυλινδράκια από σοβαρές γόμες τύπου lauffer, Τ20 κλπ. Και πάλι, έπαιζαν σπάνια. Άμα θες να σβήσεις έχεις μια σοβαρή γόμα στο πλάι, αυτές είναι για τη φάση που το έχεις στο σακάκι και θες ντε και καλά να σβήσεις κάτι στο σκίτσο που έκανες πάνω στο σουπλά.
Αλλά από την άλλη οι γραμμές του σπάνε. Έχει κοντρόλ γραμμικού με μια 2H, 3H και ελευθέρου με μια HB, 2B (αρκεί να την τρίψεις λίγο τύπου «ψαράκι»).
