Description

Electronically controlled pressure and flow monitoring systems with water shortage protection and check valve for the automatic monitoring of booster sets/water supply installations with single-phase pump sets.

The device activates the pump if the preset nominal pressure falls below the permissible limit and deactivates it with a time delay after the flow stops.

The Wilo-HiControl 1/FC protects the installations against prolonged dry running if there is insufficient water supply, in case of exceeding the suction height, as well as in non-sealed and closed pipelines.

  • Permissible liquids: Clean water without solid particles
  • Maximum flow rate: 10 m3/h
  • Maximum permissible operating pressure: 10 bar
  • Activation pressure: 1.5-2.7 bar
  • Maximum permissible water temperature: 60°C
  • Voltage: Single-phase current 1~220-250 V, 50-60 Hz

    I fail to understand why this thing costs close to €100. It is truly useless. You can only adjust the lower limit where it starts, with the maximum you can set being 2.7 bar. The upper limit cannot be adjusted. It stops wherever it wants. Wherever the pump can reach.
    I bought it thinking it was better, to replace a mechanical pressure switch I had on the expansion tank, hoping it would give me more stable pressure. The result is that it turns on at 2.7 and turns off at 5.5! The house has truly become UNUSABLE.
    I wonder how Wilo sells this, and puts their name on it!
