The Ugears wooden Counter is an educational model that records repeated actions and demonstrates how an odometer mechanism works. The three cylindrical gears, numbered from 0 to 9, are connected by a Geneva mechanism, which converts the movement of the button into rotational movement of the gears. The counter displays numbers from 1 to 999 and can be reset manually from the front.

Counting can be done using either the button on top or the rotating side handle. The model is assembled without glue or additional tools, using parts removed from the wooden boards according to the instructions. It includes a guide with information and activities about the mechanism, as well as QR codes providing access to a study guide and Ugears’ augmented reality app.
