Traditional Corfiot delicacy made from dried fig paste, marinated in red wine, and flavored with Lazaris ouzo, aniseed, fennel seed, and black pepper. In respect to the traditional recipe, we replaced ouzo with Lazaris koumquat liqueur.
Its spicy taste pairs well with spirits (tsipouro, ouzo, grappa, brandy). It can also be added as an ingredient in green salads or paired with soft goat cheeses or cured meats, such as prosciutto.
