I have it for about six months.
As a construction, it is incredible. It is the most premium gadget I have ever seen. You can feel it in your hand. Lightweight, compact construction with a nice brushed metal frame and very small, symmetrical bezels. Really beautiful.
I had worked with an OLED screen only on a mobile phone and now on the 12.4 inches, it seems endless to me. Tremendous colors, you can't get enough of it. Very good brightness. Indoors, I never have it above 25-30%, and in the sun, at 100%, it is bright enough to see clearly.
Functionally, it is impeccable. Snapdragon 865 Plus and 6GB RAM are enough for it not to lag anywhere (not even in heavy games or large files in Clip Paint, etc.) even with many open applications. The battery is very good. I haven't measured the exact hours, but for such a large screen, the autonomy is more than satisfactory, and with fast charging at 45W, it "fills up" in an hour and a half. The sound is extremely clear, but I would like a slightly louder maximum volume.
I would also like to focus on the software, giving credit to Samsung. Although I prefer a more stock Android experience on mobile phones, here with OneUI, it has excelled in useful customizations that make a tablet much more ergonomic. From the settings menu to the floating multitasking windows, and the Dex mode (which with a Bluetooth keyboard can turn your tablet into a laptop), everything is incredibly functional and useful.
Also, one of the highlights and the main reason I went ahead with the purchase is the S Pen and the writing technology developed by Wacom. Amazing responsiveness, pressure and tilt recognition with precision, good line smoothing technology, minimal latency, laminated screen (which means zero distance from the line you draw to the tip of the pen). Finally, there is something outside of the iPad at a good level in this area.
Now, on the more mediocre aspects, the rear cameras are not anything incredible. They produce decent results for casual photos under good lighting, but in difficult nighttime conditions or with fast-moving subjects, don't expect much. The front camera will do its job, but it could also be better. Also, although the S Pen works flawlessly, I would like a more ergonomic design since it is not the most convenient to hold. Perhaps with a larger thickness like the iPad's stylus, it would be more comfortable. However, I find it unacceptable that with this price, which is quite high, it does not include a fast charger but a simple 15W one (they didn't even bother to include a 25W charger), which takes over 3 hours to charge the 10,000mAh battery of the tablet. This time is enough to force you to spend another 25 euros to get their 45W charger. Otherwise, they continue to boast about environmental protection while putting you in a situation where you have to buy another charger. Although the tablet is a multi-tool of exceptional construction based on the above (and mainly due to the price), I cannot give it 5 stars. Anyway, at the time I am writing this review (October 21), it might be worth waiting a few months for the Tab S8 to come out, maybe the price will drop a bit.
