Size

In black, it was disappointing and in my opinion, the bleed it has is prohibitively intense and not good enough even for videos. If strictly used for gaming, then it is an excellent product where the previously mentioned bleed is not easily noticeable. Mediocre performance for its price and inadequate image quality in black.

UPDATE: The problem with the bleed I mentioned earlier is ONLY in defective models and thanks to a staff member at the store who has the same one, I will take it for repair.

Very good screen, I got it for 299, it was the best for this money and it really is a very good upgrade. I believe it is the right size for gaming and work. While at first I was very careful about the backlight bleed, in everyday use you don't notice it. There is no screen of this type without bleed. I recommend it and would buy it again.

Coming from a fairly old setup with two 19-inch TN screens, we're talking about a different quality in image. Overall, everything works correctly, but there is quite a bit of backlight bleed which is ONLY visible when the background is pitch black. When I use the screen, because the background is almost never pitch black, I don't notice it at all. I just have to mention it for someone who might be bothered by it a lot. I mean, due to my usage, I don't see it, but when I happen to see it for a few seconds, I would be lying if I said I couldn't notice it.

Overall, the screen has left me very satisfied, especially because I got it on sale for €299. That was my budget limit. For that price, it is one of the best products one can find. For the usual price of €380, there might be better options available.

Other than that, sturdy construction, quality stand, satisfactory rotation margins for me left and right and upwards (the downwards rotation is almost non-existent). The stand is very stable, with the usual hole for cable management.

Overall, we're talking about ASUS quality. At €299, I consider it lucky.

So, 4 stars due to the backlight bleed. Otherwise, very satisfied
