The well-known "Mounzouris" game for both young and old! Draw cards from your opponents and form pairs of animals, but be careful... the player who ends up with the Mounzouris card at the end of the game will get a lovely smudge on their face!

How to play:

  • The youngest player starts the game first in a clockwise direction.
  • Deal all the cards to the players.
  • Before starting, each player gathers the maximum number of pairs (two identical cards) and places them in front of them.
  • The first player takes a random card from the player to their left. If the card they took allows them to form a new pair, they place the new pair in front of them. Otherwise, they keep it. In any case, the next player continues the game. The game continues in this manner until the pairs are reconstituted.
  • END OF THE GAME: The game ends when all pairs have been reconstituted. The loser is the one who ends up with the Mounzouris, that is, a card without a pair. All other players are winners.

WHAT IF...

  • ...you want more suspense? Remove the Mounzouris and one more card from the game before starting. Only at the end of the game will you know which card was the Mounzouris!
  • ...you want to play another game? Simply remove the Mounzouris card to play the classic Memory Game!
