I use it with a Nikon Z7 II. I compare it with the old F mount AF-S VR 70-200 and I find it:
    - A little better in resolution
    - Much faster in focusing
    - Much better VR for handheld shooting.
    - Slightly lighter.
    - Quite a bit shorter in length if we take into account the FTZ adapter. On the Z7 II it even fits in a sling bag.
    - With a slightly better tripod mount.
Overall, it is an excellent zoom telephoto lens that can easily be used for a walk, without a tripod even in low light. It is a bit heavier and larger than competing lenses, but it is worth it.

Excellent lens, sharp, fast lens with its only drawback being the weight! From what I had read in articles about the lens, I can say that I was disappointed, but the reality is that it will excite you!

  • It is excellent, fast, and incredibly high quality. I had the Tamron 70-200mm G2 before and thought I wouldn't need anything better, but the Nikon is so much better that there is no comparison. Just my favorite lens for any kind of work.
