Tragic experience.
I have a house with ethernet installation and the provider's modem does not cover it all. I decide to get a mesh wifi and choose this one because it also has ethernet backhaul.
At first, I tried to connect it in router mode. The setup was extremely difficult both through the browser interface on a computer and on a mobile, although it was slightly better on the mobile. Setting up the second covr was very challenging. I managed to do it after a lot of effort and for 1-2 days, I had very good speeds but strange disconnections on the internet itself. I change the modem from the provider, it didn't work at all with the new one. I put the old one back, still had issues. I reset everything, same problems again. I end up using it in Bridge mode. It works there okay, but many times all the phones and laptops refuse to connect to it, as well as other devices. Many times it keeps me connected to the covr on the first floor even though I am next to the covr on the ground floor, resulting in very slow speeds.
I would not recommend it to anyone, on the one hand, it doesn't work for the basics - at least not with my provider, on the other hand, it has minimal customization options, so you can't understand, for example, if the second covr is working with ethernet or wifi, etc.
I bought it for about 70 euros, but I will have to get something else.
Τραγική εμπειρία.
Έχω ένα σπίτι με εγκατάσταση ethernet και το modem του παρόχου δεν το καλύπτει όλο. θα πάρω mesh wifi λέω και επιλέγω το συγκεκριμένο γιατί έχει και ethernet backhaul.
Στην αρχή προσπάθησα να το συνδέσω στο router mode. εξαιρετικά δύσκολο το setup τόσο μέσα από το browser interface από υπολογιστή , όσο και από κινητό αν και από το κινητό ήταν λίγο καλύτερο. Πολύ δύσκολο το σετάρισμα του 2ου covr. Τα καταφέρνω μετά από πολύ κόπο και για 1 -2 μέρες είχα πολύ καλές ταχύτητες αλλά αποσυνδέσεις περίεργες στο ίδιο το internet. Αλλάζω modem από τον πάροχο, δεν συνεργαζόταν καθόλου με το νέο. ξαναβάζω το παλιό, πάλι θέματα. κάνω reset τα πάντα , πάλι τα ίδια. Καταλήγω να το χρησιμοποιώ στο Bridge mode. δουλεύει εκεί οκ , αλλά πολλές φορές αρνούνται όλα τα τηλέφωνα και τα laptop να συνδεθούν πάνω του καθώς και λοιπές συσκευές. πολλές φορές με κρατάει συνδεδεμένο με το covr του 1ου ορόφου ενώ είμαι δίπλα από το covr του ισογείου με αποτέλεσμα πολύ αργές ταχύτητες.
Δεν θα το πρότεινα σε κανέναν, αφ'ενός δεν δουλεύει για τα βασικά - τουλάχιστον όχι με τον πάροχό μου , αφετέρου έχει ελάχιστες δυνατότητες παρεμετροποίησης με αποτέλεσμα να μην καταλαβαίνεις πχ αν το 2ο covr δουλεύει με ethernet ή με wifi κτλ .
To πήρα στα 70 ευρώ περίπου αλλά θα πρέπει να πάρω κάτι άλλο.
