This book is essentially a "Navigator" (guides and directs the journey), presented in a format that simplifies the information of the essential elements – that make the trip comfortable, safe, and enjoyable – regarding safety, supplies, repairs, entertainment, and general care at the port/harbor – for tourism and water sports.
It is based on presenting information with images primarily and secondarily with concise text, close to the locations they concern. For this work, nautical charts from the Hydrographic Service of the Navy, as well as harbor indicators (diagrams) created by the author, were used.
The information mentioned above is gathered by the author himself, from fishermen (mostly), from captains of local line vessels, from captains of boats, from amateur sailors in general, from local authorities, from his visits to these places, as well as from the relevant literature/maps on these subjects.
