I haven't installed any specific software to measure the performance of the cable, and I don't know if such software exists, but it does its job more than adequately. The clip (90°) is very helpful, especially in my case, where the desktop is old and doesn't have cable management. The 0.3m length was exactly what I needed for the aforementioned reason. The clip securely fastens, giving you a greater sense of security compared to others that simply plug into each other without locking.

In the photo it looks like it has two cables, but it's one, they are joined with a transparent material. Its length is ok, I think the 0.5 would be too long.

Update: I probably had an issue with the cable, I had to unplug and replug it for the PC to detect the disk. (After two years of use, defective) I used the second one I had bought and it's ok. So maybe you should go for another one.

Update 2: The second one is also defective, I think two years later, it shows Sata CRC Errors just like the other one
