It is one of the most useful purchases I have made, as I do not need to keep plugging and unplugging the cables I want to have connected.
Very good for general use, the only thing that disappointed me is that the two outputs for monitors (HDMI and VGA) cannot be used for different screens. Only one. Finally, the cable of the docking station (Type C) is not of such good quality and is not so sturdy
I have used it simply to connect USB and HDMI monitor to a Mac. It worked immediately without any problem at all
I think it would be very important to mention somewhere that the 2 display outputs are mirrored, so practically the dream of having 2 screens does not exist.
Good quality hub. It also has a type C output for charging. I charge my Mac Air M1. There is enough space between the USB ports to allow for 2 flash drives side by side. It heats up a bit, especially when the type C charging is connected, but this happens with almost all hubs. The HDMI, VGA, and Ethernet ports work normally. Excellent considering the very good price. The image it outputs through the HDMI port at 4K is 30 fps. I don't know if this is due to the hub or the Mac Air. It is more likely to be a limitation of the hub.
The best thing for m1 air. It may heat up if you fill it with devices, especially with hard drives that are working, but it doesn't notice anything.
