With the TLM 102, Neumann creates a new generation of studio microphones. This applies not only to the design but also to its price! The overall reduced size contributes to an excellent "compact" appearance, which unites all the high-quality parts we are accustomed to comprising a Neumann microphone. The harmonious proportions and the glossy grille ensure that at first glance the TLM 102 attracts attention and impresses. The TLM 102 is not only impressive in appearance but also in sound. Inside it is a large diaphragm capsule (cardioid) with a maximum sensitivity of 144 dB that allows the recording of percussion, drums, amplifiers, and other very loud sound sources. Nevertheless, its most important applications consist of vocals and speech. With a slight boost above 6 kHz, it provides excellent clarity and "brightness" to vocals within your mix.
