    From the beginning, when I got the K5, I was using the 18-55 WR lens (green) and I was disappointed with its clarity, thinking that the K5 sensor had this capability. Until I decided, before selling it, to give it a second chance by buying the 35mm lens. Lightweight and plastic, it doesn't inspire you until you see the photos it takes! Excellent contrast and clarity from f2.4 onwards. The photos are at 125 base ISO with f/4 and f/5. Don't underestimate your PENTAX camera with cheap zoom lenses. It may be the cheapest lens for K-mount, but it is definitely much better than its price suggests.
