The knob by itself is very good. Heavy and quite tall (which in my case brings the lever almost next to the steering wheel), it really transformed my experience behind the wheel... when the included silicone hoses for installation didn’t betray it.

The first hose melted inside the knob and punctured from the 3 screws within 1 week of purchase (summer 2023) and was ready for the trash, as it threw the knob into the air while I was putting it in reverse and then it wouldn’t go back in (thankfully I had kept the OEM knob in the cupboard because I would still be stuck in Salamina). As it was, I put it in the cupboard because it was impossible in the middle of summer to detach the hose from inside and because I was afraid of having a similar incident again.

Eventually, I gave it a second chance and reinstalled it with the tighter hose this time.

If we exclude the fact that in summer it gives you 3rd degree burns and in winter you need gloves to hold it, as a product it is top-notch, but it is truly betrayed by its hoses. If someone has a 3D printer and doesn’t mind scanning, they can create hoses of greater durability through reverse engineering and it will be just right for them. The only logical explanation I have is that for cars like mine that have the reverse lockout, it simply will never work properly. If you don’t have a reverse lockout, feel free to get it, you don’t have to worry about getting a kilo of metal in your eye.

Very good knob. It fit well and matched the car. Toyota Corolla 2005. It requires a little attention during installation because the screws can loosen during screwing.
