The reason I give it 4 stars is because even with phantom power, its sound is not very powerful. Don't get me wrong - it does its job just fine - it's just not very loud. And if you want to sound good, you shouldn't use the pop filter (the spider - the extra round accessory that goes between you and the microphone). It cuts a lot of volume from the voice. I see it from my perspective (with a group of 5 in gaming - where we all talk at the same time sometimes). If you want it for simple speech with fewer people (who won't be talking simultaneously), I think it will work just fine. One thing for sure is that it's worth its money.

[to work on the computer, it will need phantom power (amplifier). Although you can plug it directly into the PC and the computer recognizes it, it doesn't have enough power on its own (like 95% of other condenser microphones), so factor that into the cost. These start at around 30 bucks.]
