I cannot confirm the comments that the keys are pressed on the screen when the phone is closed (see photo). It works fine and I even tried pressing it to see if the keys are somehow pressed. Otherwise, good speaker, sufficient battery life, poor photo/video quality (of course! Make sure to set the resolution to VGA 640x480 because the default is 320x240 and the quality is mediocre. They know who they are targeting!), the screen is fine for the intended use, and satisfactory build quality without being impressive. It includes a manual in Greek and hands-free headphones. The menu is too simple with basic settings easily accessible, but for some others, e.g. Bluetooth function/management, it requires several clicks. Still, not something that the target group will do frequently. Oh, and a one-touch flashlight, quite powerful indeed. In conclusion, a very decent phone that fully meets the needs it is called to cover. Recommended.

I got it for my mother, but the phone was a very bad choice! The letters are too small and not convenient for older people with vision problems. And in incoming calls, the name appears in the top left, again with small letters and not on the whole screen! And it's not adjustable!!! Also, it didn't even have user instructions!!!! Even the headset is not good, the sound quality is terrible! It's not worth buying... FOR ANY REASON!

Apart from the many and various problems that the previous reviewers have mentioned, which I also found disappointing. Another little issue that I don't like is the font size on the screen... Unacceptable for a good-sized screen. The Greek dealership has been around for 2 decades, the same problems with the wireless phones... and they don't bother to fix them...

Certainly it cannot meet the needs of an adult. But if you are looking for a phone with a good battery for your grandparents, it is a good choice. It has large buttons and a nice understandable menu. My family members (75 years old) learned it easily, it has a headset and a nice charger. We also found the flashlight on the front useful.

This particular model shuts down or goes into silent mode with the slightest pressure applied to the phone, even if you're holding it in your hand. We won't even discuss putting it in your pocket... it's instantly deactivated. Unacceptable for the elderly, a complete disappointment. I didn't expect this from Panasonic. We threw it away and found peace.

I got it for my father, and I regretted it, I called him many times and most of the times it was closed. The buttons are pressed even when it's in the pocket, even when the door is closed and the device is completely shut down or in silent mode. It constantly needs charging, and sometimes the device doesn't charge. The only good thing it has is the loud ringtone.

When the phone is in the pocket and pressed, it usually makes calls to the last dialed numbers. There is no automatic lock, resulting in the inability to prevent the problem of accidental calls from the pocket, which makes the phone dysfunctional and creates problems for frequent communicators.

I spoke with Panasonic and they told me to send it for service, but the issue is that the problem is inherent in the design. I will update the comment as soon as the phone returns.

Nice phone, but I do not recommend buying it solely because of this flaw.

UPDATE: I sent the phone to the service through Public, where I purchased it (reason: "manufacturing defect, buttons are pressed in the pocket"), and they refunded me the purchase amount.

Indeed, the keys are pressed even when the lid is closed.
Also, the micro USB charging port is not ideal for the elderly.

Perhaps the best choice for the elderly. Huge letters, huge everything, and the signal and calls are perfect. It is a serious device, not like the others of the 20s. It is the right choice in my opinion.
Her Nokia broke, so I got her a cheap popular one, but I couldn't hear her anywhere. I immediately got her this one and all the problems were solved.
edit: It died over time. Mobile phones for the elderly are a difficult category, I don't know what to get now...

I wanted a simple phone for my mother who was stuck with an old Nokia with a flip cover. She liked the large numbers it had and of course the active flip cover. You open-answer, close-end the call. The objection is that there is no shortcut for contacts on the up-down buttons. I still haven't understood why these very simple phones have a camera. Older people just want a simple phone, maybe even SMS...

The keys are pressed by themselves when you have it in your pocket and there is no keyboard lock setting, resulting in constant closing. fail

I bought it for my mother. The battery life is short. It enters silent mode on its own, resulting in missed calls.

When you have it in your pocket, the buttons are accidentally pressed, resulting in either deleting with the slightest touch or making calls on its own. Unacceptable.

Big keys, big and clear letters on the screen. The best phone for (parents) who want to talk-message. It is also beautiful in turquoise.

  • When it's in the pocket, the buttons get pressed and the phone either goes silent or shuts down completely. Avoid buying it, very poor design.

  • Easy to use. It is what you expect when you buy such a phone. As for the durability, it will show

  • Apart from the many and various problems that the previous reviewers have mentioned, which I also found disappointing. Another little issue that I don't like is the font size on the screen... Unacceptable for a good-sized screen. The Greek dealership has been around for 2 decades, the same problems with the wireless phones... and they don't bother to fix them...

  • Certainly it cannot meet the needs of an adult. But if you are looking for a phone with a good battery for your grandparents, it is a good choice. It has large buttons and a nice understandable menu. My family members (75 years old) learned it easily, it has a headset and a nice charger. We also found the flashlight on the front useful.
