    Very good processor. I come from Ryzen 5 2600 and i3-10100f.
    Well, I will be clear, what bothered me is that the RAM doesn't reach 3200/3466mhz but 2933/3000mhz. And I consider it very wrong to have to get a Z490 to overclock the memory... with this logic, we might as well go for K/KX, liquid cooling, etc.

    Now, because I borrowed an AMD 5600x, the differences in games with that one are minimal. However, because I work with Photoshop programs and now with teleworking, the VPN/F5 was very demanding on the processor and RAM. I wanted more cores and threads to work without any lag. While the Ryzen 5 5600x has a 5-10% better single core performance, the i7 has a 10-15% better multi-core performance.

    Also, nowadays, price is a factor:

    260€(10700F)+95€(h470)+55€(ddr4 2*8gb 3000mhz) cost 410€

    360€(5600X)+140-200€(B550/X570)+80~100€(2*8gb 3600+mhz) cost 580-640€

    Unfortunately, I wish I didn't see it, but in today's Greece, price is a big factor. For less money, you can get something equivalent to AMD's new generation. You don't need to find a Ryzen 3rd gen to do a BIOS update (and some stores charge 50€ for BIOS updates, those scammers) and you don't need RAM more expensive than 80€ to reach 3600+ and show its capabilities, which you won't find below 80-100€!

    All these make the i7 10700f a value for money 8-core CPU with 16 threads, low temperatures (even if it's 14nm) and good speeds (4.8x2, 4.6x2, 4.4x4 GHz). Also, at 2.9GHz, the lowest it can go, it consumes 29W... IDLE or BASIC at 2.9GHz, it consumes almost no power! Positive, as with Ryzen (2600) with Game Boost (3.95GHz), it remained stable even without programs at 55W and the speed didn't drop. You had to turn off Game Boost, so restart, etc. Also, I haven't seen the processor go above 50°. Make sure you have a good cooling system for 20-30€, the Intel stock cooler is useless! I have to admit, AMD is leading in that aspect!
