  • Maximum Load

    It is the maximum amount of current that the switch can withstand without burning out. It shows you how many or how powerful devices you can connect: for simple lights, 10A is enough, while for power-hungry devices (such as a water heater) more Amperes are required.

    For example, a typical LED bulb (e.g. 10W) draws very little current, about 0.04 Amperes. This means that a standard smart switch of 10A is more than sufficient for its operation.
