The Ajax Systems Rex wireless range extender extends communication between Ajax alarm hubs and their wireless devices. It uses the Jeweller protocol and supports up to 99 wireless devices with Hub, Hub 2 and Hub Hybrid, up to 149 with Hub Plus and up to 199 with Hub 2 Plus. The backup battery provides up to 35 hours of operation in the event of a power outage.
