The air splints have zippers for fitting and safety valves to regulate pressure. They are transparent, allowing the limb to remain visible, and X-rays can be taken without removing them.

They are used to immobilize upper and lower limbs, including in cases of suspected fractures and injuries with open, bleeding wounds. They provide even pressure around the limbs and can be washed and reused. The set includes an inflation pump and a carrying case.
