The Varisan Top Normal thigh-high stocking applies graduated compression of 23–32 mmHg, with 100% of the target compression at the ankle, 70% at the calf and 40% at the thigh. It is for the left leg, with an open toe and silicone top band. It is suitable for varicose veins with skin intolerance, prevention of recurrent venous ulcers and post-thrombotic syndrome, superficial or acute deep vein thrombosis, and class I and II lymphedema.
It is made from 70% polyamide and 30% Lycra, with a yarn weight of 580 DTEX. The yarn is OEKO-TEX certified and antibacterial, while the silicone is hypoallergenic. To select the correct size, measurements are required at the ankle, calf and thigh, as well as from the heel to the gluteal fold.
