This winter was once again with us. Erratic, solitary, but not alone. With a heart devoid of will watching over us, whispering lullabies of the rain and stoning us with the unwarranted gusts of the winds.
Somewhere there, amidst intoxicated desires and nostalgic paradises, we sought hermits to set up on skillfully prepared backpacks, to weave a spell in desperation, and in the futility of progress, stoning.
And we searched in these small icons to build life with earth and light; life as it has been for centuries in the hearts and bodies of the hermits; life as an eternal kiss of objects; life as the unity of all, which happens in the now and always with effort and pain, with the voluntary sacrifice of the self.
And so we set off on a long journey towards the Ithaca of colors and the divine Penelope of shapes. We had to find ways to marry colors, and to secretly link movements, for the painting to become the life of the hermits, or the life from the side of the hermits, where everything interpenetrates, embracing in their return to the great womb of Life.
