Description

Description

80 Plus Titanium Certification

The Dark Power Pro 12 is 80 PLUS Titanium certified with energy efficiency of up to 95.8%. This provides many benefits for your high-end system, including lower power consumption and an overall cooler and quieter operation. The standby power draw is less than 0.1 watts.

Silent Operation

Patented fan technology for virtually inaudible operation

The Silent Wings fan mounted on a tripod allows for maximum airflow and nearly silent operation under typical loads. This is due to the unique fan blade design optimized for airflow, along with an advanced fluid dynamic bearing and a 6-pole fan motor for reduced vibrations, long lifespan, and minimal power consumption.

Ready for Overclocking

The Dark Power Pro 12 is suitable for overclocking, thanks to its powerful and stable 12V rails. Overclocking provides you with full control, manually switching between the default six 12V-rail mode and the alternative single-rail mode.

Fully Modular Design

The maximum utility provided by modular cables up to 120 centimeters simplifies the installation of components and reduces annoying clutter. This results in increased airflow and improved cooling even in the largest computer cases.

LLC Topology

With active rectifier and full bridge LLC technology, the Dark Power Pro 12 offers some of the most advanced technologies available, resulting in higher efficiency, better regulation, and lower ripple noise for unparalleled stable operation.

Japanese Capacitors 105°

Only the best components are used in the Dark Power Pro 12. That is why we have exclusively incorporated high-quality Japanese capacitors into the power supply framework. They are rated at 105°C, ensuring stability, reliability, and long lifespan.

Full Digital Control

Fully digital control (PFC, LLC, SR/12V) results in higher efficiency, better regulation, and lower ripple noise. This guarantees an incomparably stable operation. Thanks to digital sensing, the Dark Power Pro 12 can achieve high efficiency across the entire power range, even at low load.

System Protection

The Dark Power Pro 12 protects your PC from over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over current (OCP), over temperature (OTP), and short circuit (SCP).

Words are unnecessary for this power supply

    ---- Computer:
I have it in a computer with a Threadripper 3960x (24/48) and an NVIDIA 3070 Asus TUF gaming OC edition. It's totally overkill but I couldn't find anything at 1000w and also my original graphics card was the 3080, it just never arrived so I got the 3070, while I had the elusive dream of one day putting a 3090 in, and now I'm already looking at the 4000 series, but with such prices it's not worth putting in such a new card.

    ---- Connections:
Endless connections and since it's modular you can use only the cables you need to have a cleaner case.

    ---- Noise:
Well, for me it doesn't even run at half load, so it's almost always in idle mode and therefore doesn't even run its fan. You can't get any quieter.

    ---- Worth it?
Obviously, even if it's overkill for my computer. I would never buy a power supply to run it at its limits, the power supply should never be the bottleneck of a computer because with a single failure you can do huge damage to all the components.

I can plug in whatever I want to the computer and never wonder if it can handle it, it can even handle dual RTX 3090s if you want.
