To remove it from its mounting position, the front panel must be removed, because only then do the retaining screws on the wall box become visible. However, removing the front panel is difficult because it is held by plastic clips that need to be pressed with a very thin tool. The clips are very thin and break easily. Therefore, the design is flawed as it does not allow for easy removal. Older switches had a more careful design as they used screws instead of clips.

We have had the exact same one since 1992. What else can one say? Super easy replacement, appointment in 2050.

Classic simple button for a doorbell with minimal design and great durability over time, easy to install and its light is satisfactory although I think nowadays it should be LED. It's a shame they no longer produce the brown model.

Greek product and good dimensions (99x72mm) for replacing an old doorbell button. It doesn't have its own back box, but it has claws like all sockets and switches, and you use the old box. I replaced an old Bpt, the only issue I faced was that the claws couldn't grip because the box was a bit wider, but I solved it easily by breaking some wooden clothespins and placing them on the right and left sides of the box, so the claws could hook onto them.
EDIT: After 2 years the light burned out (it's a simple one, not LED, which is logical given the price), light 16V 1.5W (a 12V light also works), bought from the neighborhood electrical store.

Cheap and simple, the negative aspect for me is the safety and the way the blades hold it from the inside, many times it doesn't make proper contact and the light goes out
