I had to buy more paraffin oil to mix it with this in order to burn it. On its own, it goes out after a short time, leaving a large amount of non-burning residue (something like ash foam) inside the lantern. I can't know if the batch I received was problematic, but it definitely did not have the ability to burn and I would not buy it again.

It smells a bit, which is understandable, but the problem is that when you try to fill it, it starts dripping no matter how careful you are in emptying it somewhere, which means that if you throw away half of it, as the saying goes, it is a waste and it also makes a mess with the liquid. I do not recommend it. But you can try it anyway, for its price, it's okay.

I have been using oil lamps for many years. This paraffin oil is SMOKELESS but NOT ODORLESS. It has a strong smell, so I had to take it outside.

If you use it with the correct length of wick in a candle, then it is indeed smokeless. It doesn't smell particularly strong, but I haven't used it in a closed space. Good price.
