Convenient. It doesn't leak (much) even when upside down. When you release the pressure, the water in the dish goes back into the bottle (and doesn't go to waste).
The dish is big enough for my dog (golden retriever).
However: it seems like it won't last long. It's hard plastic that needs to be squeezed, so it's difficult, and you quickly realize that it will break. It may be 500ml, but precisely because it comes out by squeezing the bottle, you can never get all the water out, so you always carry around 100ml-200ml for free.
