Most amplifiers provide two-output power supplies, but in an area with very low signal where you only have one TV, you don't want to lose half your signal (3 dB) for no reason. I replaced the Mistral power supply with this one and also removed the terminal socket which was cutting 1 dB, and now I no longer have freezing (artifacting). Also positive is that it provides much greater current (220mA vs 50mA of the Mistral) if you want to power an amplifier and an active dipole at the same time.
