I installed it without any help, but I struggled a lot.. If you have a powerful electric screwdriver, something can be done, otherwise the screws will hardly go into the wood of the cabinet.. Mine was battery-operated and in the middle the screws would stop going in further. I used a regular screwdriver to fully tighten them.. The package includes 16 screws instead of the 24 that should normally be included since the base has a total of that many slots.. When I hung up the clothes, it seemed to struggle a bit even though I only hung up lightweight summer clothes.. I also have a second elevator that was installed by the store where I had the cabinet made, and it is much sturdier, it can handle 20 kilograms of clothes without any problem, so maybe you should consider paying a bit more to get something stronger if you want to hang coats, jackets, etc.. Overall, it's okay though, time will tell..
