I used it for a trip so that the cats wouldn't have a hard time, they were relatively quiet from a point onwards but I don't know if the product played a role. It needs to be sprayed 15-20 minutes before the trip in the carrier, in the car, etc., just should not be used frequently because it is addictive. Definitely recommended if you want to train the pet to go to a specific spot e.g. scratching post, as soon as I sprayed it they went straight to smell and investigate the spot.
