Seachem Matrix is a porous biological filtration media for aquarium water, suitable for use in all types of filters and particularly effective in canister filters. Its size usually allows it to be used without a filter bag.

The recommended dosage is 250 ml per 200 L of water. It can be used in discus systems, although the larger Pond Matrix may be more suitable for such applications. Using it together with Stability® helps establish the biological filter more quickly.
