From "Solomos without Metaphysics," published in 1925, which was a combative study and therefore excessive and unfair in many of its points, I reprint here as much as remains of general interest for the explanation and evaluation of the work of our great and incomparable National Poet, on the occasion of the celebration of the hundred years since his death.
