History has shown us - and indeed with irrefutable evidence - that for us, the Greeks, the rescue and defense of our national tradition is a conditio sine qua non for the preservation and defense of our very national existence. Within this framework, this publication elevates, timelessly, the Homeric-rooted Evzone to an emblematic warrior, to a vigilant guardian, to a hero. A hero with a tradition of centuries, in a culture that knows how to resist, constantly guarding the Unknown Soldier, not at the behest of orders, but consciously and above any measure regarding the sense of responsibility and duty.
