This second grade reading book was published in 1949 by the Organization for the Publication of Textbooks. Mr. Dimitrakopoulos, in collaboration with the illustrator Ms. Louiza Montesandou, created a wonderful work—a very clever book with simple sketches that taught children the joy and importance of work through the everyday tasks of parents and neighbors, in cities and villages.
