Rita Beaton was, until very recently, the Director of Studies for MYP Mathematics and Sciences at the International Baccalaureate (IB) and continues to be involved in curriculum review. She is an experienced teacher of MYP and DP Mathematics and Sciences, and is the Mathematics Coordinator at her school. She has taught at several international schools in Europe as well as in North America. Her interests include overcoming math anxiety and STEM education. She is also the author of MYP by Concept 4&5 Mathematics.
Irina Amlyn has been a Mathematics teacher for MYP and Department Head, Chair, and frequent presenter of the Mathematics learning network in Bermuda, and has been involved in the development and assessment of the IB curriculum. Her main focus area is illustrating the relevance of Mathematics in our everyday lives and guiding students to experience its applications in various sciences. She is also the author of Mathematics for the IB MYP 1: by Concept.
