Contains: Theory - Exercises 160 exercises of various types grouped, 2930 examples - excerpts from ancient Greek texts, 18 texts of Attic prose.
The originality of this writing effort mainly lies in the fact that: the theory is presented in correspondence with its example, resulting in easy and immediate understanding and assimilation. Most of the 160 exercises are divided into three groups according to the level of difficulty, so they cater to middle school and high school students, as well as teachers. There are various types of exercises adapted to the new examination system, while there are standalone unseen texts of Attic prose with questions primarily focused on the syntactic phenomena that preceded them.
The answers to all types of exercises help to assess the assimilation of knowledge. Thus, the student perceives, understands, and assimilates it immediately. Furthermore, the distinction between the basic knowledge for each syntactic phenomenon (first part of each unit) and the in-depth exploration of that phenomenon with additional observations in specific cases (second part of each unit) meets the needs of both beginners and those seeking to understand the structure of language at a high level of demand.
Finally, the answers allow students to check whether they successfully addressed the proposed exercises. However, the main focus of this third edition has been on the classification of the exercises. Most of them for each syntactic phenomenon are divided into three groups, where the ranking criterion was the level of difficulty. Thus, the exercises in the first group are approached more easily by the student and can be taught in the lower grades, while also serving the fellow teacher.
Additionally, an effort was made to include examples in the exercises from the ancient Greek texts already known to the students from middle school and high school.
