▫️A few words about the book: In the first book of the now famous series "A Court of Thorns and Roses," we meet Feyre, a young mortal who kills to survive and feed her family, a creature from the world of the Fae. And so she finds herself trapped in the world of Prythian, under the protection of Tamlin.
▪️Book style/writing: As someone who started the series late, I really liked the author's writing, and her style immediately immerses you in the story. The book is quite descriptive and its atmosphere overwhelms you. It somewhat resembles the whole Beauty and the Beast element, but in a much darker version.
▫️Why I liked it: Although it starts as a simple story without anything special, it gradually builds up and the plot twists come one after another. Also, I did not expect the ending at all! Especially for me, who started the series late, I expected something more cliché but in the end it surprised me.
▪️Why you should read it: If you already like fantasy romance with rich worldbuilding, then you should start the series too! If you happened to read "The Wren in the Holly Library" first, then this book/series is definitely for you!

I will start by saying that I GET THE HYPE as we say in my village! I also want to say that I take back what I said about Tamlin and I really hope someone can help me because I suffer from an addiction to bat boys if you know what I mean. The vibes in this book... oh! Feyre, after the trials she managed to overcome, is transported to the Night Court and is called to face the terms of an agreement. In the Spring Court, there are many upheavals, betrayals, and everything seems to be not as she believed. But what is happening with the mysterious High Lord of Night and what are his secrets? Rightfully, I will describe this book as fire, full of passion and eroticism while the Court of Dreams has been etched in my mind and in my heart! Fearing that I might spoil something for you, I will tell you that I loved the second book, the new friendships and romantic relationships that are formed, as well as how strong Feyre becomes both internally and externally! I can’t get over the feelings this book and this couple left me with, and I never want to! I wholeheartedly recommend it to you, even for those of you who have your reservations or found the first book slow; you will be vindicated and won’t be able to recover like I did. It’s worth your time and you will definitely love it!

So let's talk about the 5th book in the series "Thorns and Roses." It tells the story of the oldest sister, Nesta, and her beloved Cassian! The book is 1 but has been split into 2 volumes due to size in translation. I will start by saying that I was eager to continue the series and learn about Nesta and Cassian's story! At the beginning of our story, Nesta struggles with her inner demons and her passions after the war and her transformation. To help her, the members of her close circle, after her wrong choices, send her to the House of Wind where she will train with Cassian and work in the library. I admit that in the first volume I couldn't connect with Nesta and how slowly the story was progressing, but I understood that something important was being built, so I continued reading and was vindicated! Her relationship with Cassian ignited! Also, the friendships she developed were enviable, and the Valkyries enchanted me! I found myself reading with bated breath from the moment the trials began; those who know, know. So as a book, I really liked it! However, I definitely missed Feyre and Rhys, whom I constantly sought, as well as Feyre's first-person narration, in contrast to the third-person perspective we had in this book, and I admit that the third person always makes it difficult for me. But there were certainly no shortages of battles, romances, and chemistry! I highly recommend it, as well as the entire series, because I loved it deeply!
