Your New Everyday Companion

With its small size but also its great performance, the lightweight compact digital camera E-M10 Mark IV from Olympus follows you everywhere. Put it in a bag. Carry it on your shoulder. And take amazing photos all day long. At a party. In the park. Or just at your kitchen table.

Get a refreshed version of a classic model

Once you hold this 4k digital camera in your hands, you will never want to let it go. Or appear without it. It is designed with elegant references to the past. With the comfortable, secure grip you want in the present.

Greater performance

Thanks to the excellent interaction between the Live MOS 20M sensor, the processor, the 5-axis image stabilization, and the Olympus M.Zuiko lenses, you can capture outstanding images, rich in detail. Even in low light conditions or at night.

Handheld photos with exceptional clarity

Say goodbye to blurry images. Handshake reduction is a challenge. The Olympus E-M10 Mark IV compensates for it, giving you the ability to capture the moment as you see it. Low light. A shake. A telephoto lens. None of these are a problem. The 5-axis image stabilization provides up to 4.5 stops, keeping handheld shots perfectly sharp.

Change your lens and expand your horizons

To enjoy greater creativity and flexibility, explore the wide range of Olympus M. Zuiko lenses. Find an opportunity for photography. Then, attach the appropriate lens. Important: You can achieve stunning shots with a portrait lens. Dynamic perspectives with an ultra-wide-angle zoom lens. And exciting details with a macro lens.

Your new camera for taking selfies

Elevate your digital stories and selfies – with the Olympus E-M10 Mark IV. To take your photos in selfie mode: rotate the touch screen, find a pose, and tap to shoot. The one-second delay ensures that your face appears front and center, not your hand.

Take photos like a professional

A plethora of advanced shooting features elevate your experience with the E-M10 Mark IV to the next level. And it satisfies all your desires. From capturing incredibly high-quality photos to shooting breathtaking 4k videos.

Take Advantage of the AP Feature

Do you want to acquire professional photography skills with minimal effort? Discover the Advanced Photography Mode (AP). Nine preset options invite you to explore new techniques and functions.

Demanding shots made easy

Use the full range of AP shooting functions to easily access difficult shots. Move the camera to capture landscapes in Panorama mode. Perfectly capture light trails and car lights with Live Composite mode. Or play with Live Time and Multiple Exposure modes to achieve the original look.

Amateur 4k Videos

Don't just capture an exciting experience, create a stunning 4k video by hand thanks to the 4k digital camera with amazing capabilities. The E-M10 Mark IV allows you to capture your memories and moments as high-resolution video. If necessary, the 5-axis image stabilization can step in to keep your shots exceptionally sharp and shake-free, even when recording video on the move.

Wow! The Silent Shooting Feature

For those moments when you want to capture without drawing attention as they unfold, use Silent Shooting Mode. It disables all camera sounds, so you can continue shooting. And it ensures a quiet environment.

Built for fast shooting

Details in fractions of a second – consecutive shots with locking

Do you know where the action is? Capture it using the sequential shooting feature with lock on the E-M10 Mark IV. The high-speed autofocus ensures that you never miss a fraction of a second. It allows you to shoot at speeds of up to 15 frames per second. After focusing automatically just once.

Precision and continuous focus – tracking

Whether you're on the slopes or on the street, the sequential shooting with tracking on the E-M10 Mark IV allows you to capture multiple shots with excellent results. Using a refined algorithm, the compact digital camera locks focus on your subject and follows it, refocusing between shots. For sequential shooting at speeds of up to six frames per second.

Enhanced Autofocus with Face Priority and Eye Priority

The next-generation face and eye priority AF detects faces and eyes while taking a photo and automatically focuses on them. For perfect portrait photos every time.

Even greater capabilities

Equipped with a plethora of enhanced expansion options, the E-M10 Mark IV turns every shot into an opportunity. Built-in connectivity via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, USB charging, the OI.Share app, and the Olympus Workspace software for photo editing: and these are just the beginning.

    Very good camera.
I don't want to tire you with the technical specifications that anyone can easily find, but rather to offer a more personal opinion.
Someone chooses it because, at this price, you can't get all of the following together from any other camera:
    1) In-body image stabilization (IBIS).
    2) Small size with access to a wide range of equally small, high-quality lenses offered by the m43 system. Especially such quality kit lenses in Canon and Nikon are out of the question. And of course, the existence of certain specialty lenses in the m43 system recently introduced by OM System (the successor to Olympus) that have no equivalent in any other brand. I won't elaborate on this here.
    3) Viewfinder.
    Other positives:
    4) Very good video! I don't particularly focus on this, but I didn't expect such quality, stabilization, and 4K from Olympus. I always considered them a photo-centric and not a video-centric company.
    5) OM System provides a very good RAW editing program (Workspace) for free. But you should know that the free and open-source software RAWTherapee works wonders with Olympus, especially with color.
    6) The built-in flash is decent! Of course, it can't be compared to external flashes, but I expected it to be worse!
    Points that troubled me:
    1) Awful menu. Maybe only better than Sony's menus, but still inferior to any other brand's menu I've seen (Canon, Panasonic, Nikon, in that order of preference). It does have many options, but they are scattered. Don't worry too much though, because the controls and shortcut buttons will make you forget about the menu to a large extent.
    2) Build quality. Olympus is considered a brand that emphasizes build quality. Nevertheless, one dial developed a mechanical problem within a month of purchasing the camera with minimal use. Maybe it was just my luck. Fortunately, it was covered by the warranty: even though the camera traveled abroad for repair (handled by the excellent Greek store where it was purchased), the job was done quickly and perfectly. The technician wrote an informative note about what and how it was fixed. Since then, the camera, which I've had since 2021, has had no issues. And once you register on the OM site, the warranty is extended by 6 months (two and a half years in total). What more could you want from a service? However, I'm somewhat concerned by the fact that everything is very tight on this camera: from the force needed to attach the lenses to the force required to turn the dials. I don't know if I should take this as a sign of sturdiness or as a weak point. I recommend turning the dials with two fingers in opposite directions to reduce the pressure exerted vertically on their rotation axis.
    3) Its color profile. It's a matter of taste, of course, and you can adjust it to your liking, but for landscape photography, I prefer Nikon / Panasonic. For portrait photography, however, I like it more than Nikon / Panasonic / Canon. Also, do yourself a favor and, as your first action after purchase, locate (and disable) the option that makes the colors extra warm. They're already warm as it is, and with this option enabled by default, you'll think your photos are... burning.
    4) If you want an external charger, you'll have to pay extra. It's not included in the package.
