Even in normal fan mode, when the compressor is not running, it emits a muffled continuous loud noise. I have had it for about 4 years. It is quite good. Its negative aspect is the very loud noise. I believe that for a house (without a huge humidity problem) something so powerful and bulky is not necessary, I also have a smaller dehumidifier that does an equally good job (my house is 85 square meters). From there on, it is each person's choice. It is definitely worth its money though.
P.S. I would recommend investing in better insulation.

το αγορασα λιγο πριν τη πρωτοχρονια,το σπιτι θελει μονωση και ειναι μεγαλος χωρος , βγαζει πολυ νερο ακομα και αυτες τις μερες που δεν εχει βρεξει πολυ. Δεν το λες αθορυβο αλλα οταν καλυπτει τοσα τετραγωνικα λογικο ειναι (μεχρι 190 δινει ο κατασκευαστης).Εγω θελω να καλυψω 175-180 τμ αλλα σε 2 οροφους , δουλευοντας καποιες ωρες τη μερα ξεκινοντας απο 70% υγρασια το παει μετα απο καποιες ωρες κατω απο 50,υπαρχει μεγαλη διαφορα στην ατμοσφαιρα και αν βαλεις θερμανση αυτη δεν πηγαινει χαμενη ...πριν αν αναβαμε σομπες μολις τις κλειναμε χανοταν η ζεστη τωρα δεν ειναι ετσι..ημουν αναμεσα σε αυτον που εχει 5 χρονια εγγυηση και αλλη μια μαρκα που καλυπτει 200τμ και παλι εχει 5 χρονια εγγυηση.κατεληξα σε αυτον γιατι τα τελευταια χρονια ολο και περισσοτερος κοσμος παιρνει inventor και πιστευω γινεται καλη δουλεια, επισης ειδα και τις κριτικες σε μικροτερα μοντελα της εταιρειας και ειδα οτι οι περισσοτεροι ηταν ευχαριστημενοι...θα επανελθω στο μελλον μετα απο καποια καταιγιδα γιατι μεχρι τωρα δεν εχει τυχει κατι τετοιο.
