The Heine Beta battery handle is a stainless steel ergonomic handle with special texturing to prevent slipping. It features a special socket (closure) for the attachment of all models (except for the Heine mini series) of Heine diagnostic heads (otoendoscopes, ophthalmoscopes, pharyngoscopes, etc.).

It includes a rheostat made of special ceramic materials for adjusting the intensity of the instrument's lighting and a short circuit protection circuit.

It operates with 2 alkaline batteries IEC LR14 (not included). Easily, by changing the bottom cover and adding a rechargeable Heine battery, it can be converted into a rechargeable handle, either using the tabletop charger or through another charger.
